There is growing evidence demonstrating that environmental chemicals production has been rapidly increasing in recent decades. Following that there are a wide variety of chemicals including non-regulated materials have been released into the environment and consequently humans are exposed to these chemicals. These chemicals are globally distributed in the environment, wildlife, and human bodies. In this course, we focus on hazard of human exposure to environmental chemicals, indoor and outdoor air pollution, microplastics exposure relation with health in individuals, national level as well as global impacts. In this joint course lecturers from the Hokkaido University (HU), Seoul National University (SNU) and Mahidol University (MU) will provide courses related with environmental hazards through epidemiological cohort and environmental science studies, approaches to health risk assessment, methods of chemicals exposure assessment, and management and prevention as well as timely research topics such as on COVID-19 and mask.
